A late update because my computer is in the shop with a dead battery. Yay warranties! Anyways, here is a detail of some she-werewolves for fantasy class.

101 posts.
This is the 101st post on this blog. Cool. My cyclops/wolf/sheep drawing is finally finished. Expect more wolf in sheep's hide themed drawings to come. I'm going through a sheep phase.

excuses excuses snow snow snow
Yes I missed the Friday post and today you get no pretty drawings. I have lots of things in process but nothing far enough along to be worth a look, so here's a picture of me in the snow. Big size!

Work in progress.
I nearly forgot today was Wednesday. Must be the snow. I'm currently working on finishing this piece for fantasy art. It's about the wolf in sheep's clothes, but in this case the shepherd is a cyclopes. A little Homer-Aesop mashup of mine.

Words on Wheels roughs.
This week in concepts we are working with Words on Wheels, which is an annual collaboration between MICA juniors, the MTA, and Baltimore schools to produce illustrations based on poems written by schoolchildren. A handful of winners will be printed and placed inside city buses where commuters can read a poem and enjoy some artwork in a spot typically reserved for advertisements.
My poem is by an eighth grader and is titled "Determination." I've sketched out three different concepts. Chime in if you have a favorite.
Determination fish gobbles planktons.
'sky's the limit'
Determination sheep endure in a strange landscape.

Snowpocalypse 2010.
On account of the imminent snowpocalypse I have no new images. The school has shut down every building but the ones people live in, and that means no scanners. I can't blame the school and most of the DC metropolitan area for taking precautions against the snow flu. With the sheer volume expected this weekend the typically benign contagions are expected to be white, fluffy, and virulently catchable.
