Strange Magpies.

Last week there was a sad absence of new drawings, because three little birdies with three mean spirits flew away with my drawings. I guess they developed a guilty conscience, or perhaps they completed whatever nefarious scheme required my drawings, because this afternoon they came pecking at my window, stolen property in tow.

Slow and wet.

Today was a rainy and melancholy day, and out of my pencil came this moody creature. I call him 'puddle slug.' Pardon the smudgy photo--the paper got a little crinkly and damp.
